2008 Oshkosh Photos – Director’s Cut

December 8th, 2008. Filed under: Fly-ins, Oshkosh Airventure, Photo Albums.

Of the 1,400 photos I took at AirVenture this year, I’ve whittled them down to this master list of 300. It gives you a good idea of where I was and what I saw. I hope you enjoy them half as much as I do.

This is one of three photo albums I created for 2008 Oshkosh. The other two are:
Oshkosh Photos – “A” List – A sub-group of “Director’s Cut.” 40 of the best of the best photos.
Oshkosh Photos – Four Amigos – Unless you’re family you’ll likely want to skip this album. It’s all the pics of the four of us who went; My dad, his older brother and his son, and me.

Wow. Very nicely done, Bob. Makes me want to book a room right now. These are great pictures that provide a fine overview of AirVenture 2008. Thank you for sharing.

Oshkosh is one of my favorite things to do all year. Nice job on the pics! The Checkertail Mustang is one of my favorites too, as I have over 20 hours in the back seat of it, and one of my jobs at OSH is to wipe the bugs and dew and handprints off of its polished metal first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive, and last thing in the evening after they all go home. :)

Laura! Do you need any help next year?? I’m VERY good at bug removal and polishing. Will work for ride(s)!!!!! puh-puh-puh-pleeeze!

btw- you did a spectacular job. That bird was one of the very best looking planes there. Spotless. Gleaming!
