A flight seen through a child’s eyes

October 18th, 2008. Filed under: Local Flights, Video.

My daughter accompanied me on yesterday’s local foliage flight. She borrowed my camera for a while. Being seven year old, I didn’t know what to expect, but as usual I was wonderfully surprised. If you can stand a bit of “kid’s home video” check out this clip.

Is that just wonderfully revealing – or am I just being a Dad? (I have no idea that that clicking noise is on the video. It’s not in the cabin, or coming from the engine. I’m thinking that it was the microphone being overloaded).

On the easterly leg, she became more engaged with the flight. Ah… what a great time.

Do you fly with your kids? Have you ever seen or heard about a flight from their perspective?
